Khan Law

My name is Alia Khan Abedelal. I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, and attorney. I have been a practicing Attorney since 2007 working for a family reunification firm, private law firm, and a large governmental organization. Although, I have worked in many areas of law over my tenure as an Attorney, none has held a special place in my heart like bankruptcy law. That’s why, when I decided to open my own law practice in 2010, I knew my main focus would be bankruptcy law. I wanted to have the freedom to take on clients that I could truly help when they desperately needed it and give them the fresh start that we all have needed at some point in our lives.

Filing for bankruptcy is nothing to be ashamed of. You can wipe out your debt and truly get that fresh start.

Here When You Need Me

Bankruptcy can be such an embarrassing topic for most people. Most of my clients feel guilty for not being able to pay off their debts. By the time they make the decision to call a bankruptcy attorney, they are under extreme stress because of how overwhelming paying off debt is when you are living paycheck to paycheck. Most of my clients are trying their best to pay their rent or mortgage, food, utilities, and childcare expenses but they feel crushed by the amount of money they owe to credit cards or lending institutions. They feel like there is no way out of that mountain of debt.

16+ Years of Experience

I am here to tell you that filing for bankruptcy is nothing to be ashamed of and there is a way out of all the financial strain. You can wipe out your debt and truly get that fresh start. Do not feel ashamed. This is a legal remedy under the law which you are entitled to and it is a responsible way of handling debt rather than feeling helpless to do anything when the creditors call and send them to voicemail. When my clients file for bankruptcy and receive their discharge, they can really turn their financial life around. They even emotionally feel better, and their relationships and health improve.

Don’t Let Embarrassment Stop You From Getting The Help You Need And Deserve!
